Wayne Michael Bush

Wayne Michael Bush, son of James and Eileen (Begnoche) Bush, was born on February 28, 1954, in Cherokee, Iowa.  He attended parochial school at Visitation Parish Maryhill.  He then attended Meriden-Cleghorn High School and graduated in 1972.  He finished his education at Iowa State University and graduated with a degree in Entomology in 1976.   He married Linda Weber on August 24, 1974.  His daughter, Amber, was born on October 12, 1977. 

Wayne always enjoyed being with people, playing cards, doing puzzles, fishing, hunting, trapping, collecting insects and building projects.  He always enjoyed joking and laughing with people.

Wayne passed peacefully in his sleep on January 5, 2023, at age 68.  Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Amber (Rusty) Hartman of Anamosa, Iowa, and his four grandchildren: Lincoln (age 19), Kolten (age 12), Gage (age 10), and Ryker (age 6).   He is survived by his brothers and sisters:  Dennis (Deb) Bush, Patty (Doug) Mortenson, Charlotte (Joe) Groves, Evonne Hockert, Alan (Chris) Bush, and Bryan (Lori) Bush; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen Bush; his father, James Bush; and his brother, Kenneth Bush.  Wayne will be truly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
