Trudy Lynn Denery, the daughter of Jeff and Judy (Smith)Miller and Jeff Carlson was born July 18, 1982 in Sioux City, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Cherokee where she attended Washington High School. After school, Trudy became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked many years at the Countryside Estates and Careage Hills Nursing Homes in Cherokee.
Trudy was blessed, along with Josh Waterman, to have a beautiful daughter Alexis, who was the light of her life. She enjoyed tubing down the river, rapping music to her friends and family, and attending her nephews sporting events. She was a huge role model to her nieces and nephews. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her daughter Alexis.
