On October 30, Theresa Barr Wilson went to be with the Lord. Originally from Hawarden, IA she spent the last 23 years in Cleghorn, IA. She was known as Tee by her friends and acquaintances. She loved people and helped everyone she knew and many that she did not know. She offered a place to stay or a ride to a safe place. She enjoyed gardening, canning and fishing.
Her life choices led her to use of drugs and alcohol. She kicked all habits at the end, but not before she developed cirrhosis of the liver that took her life. She wanted to be a public speaker in front of school assembly’s to warn people about how the disease ruined her health and also relationships within her extensive family. She did not get that chance.
She is survived by her parents, Robert Barr of Chatsworth and Joann Barr of Hudson, SD, siblings Robert Scott Barr of Sioux Falls, SD and Annette Martens of Garretson, SD. She had two sons, Mark and Chris.
