Paulette Jane Boger

Paulette Jane Boger, the daughter of Percival and Ruth (Little) Knutson was born December 18, 1943, in Fort Dodge, IA. She attended school and graduated from Ida Grove High School. On December 20, 1971, Paulette was united in marriage to Ed Boger in El Paso, TX. Following Ed's service in the military, they lived in several rural Iowa communities before moving to Las Vegas, NV in 1984. While in Las Vegas, Paulette worked for Marriott Food Service for 20 years. Following her retirement, they moved to Cherokee, IA, in 2006. Paulette was an avid reader, loved crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and enjoyed crafts such as sewing, crochet, and embroidery. On November 23, 2016, Paulette passed away at her residence surrounded by family after an extended struggle with cancer at the age of 72. She is preceded in death by her parents, Percival and Ruth (Little) Knutson; and her brother, Conrad Knutson. She will be remembered by her husband, Edward Boger of Cherokee, IA; her sister, Janice Wright of Sioux City, IA; brother, Edmund Knutson of Ames, IA; daughter, Imina (Kris) Oftedahl of Lino Lakes, MN; two sons, Simonˊ (Barbara) Boger of Las Vegas, NV, and Bill (Jenny) Boger of Cherokee, IA; three grandchildren, Dallas, Megan, and Olivia; other relatives; and friends.
SERVICES
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa.
