Melissa Anne Allmon, age 50 of Junction City, KS, passed away September 11, 2024, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. A graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Cherokee, IA. Pastor Jonathan Riggert will officiate.
Melissa Anne Allmon was born in Cherokee, Iowa, on September 30, 1973, to Joel and Sharon (Hanson) Grauer. Melissa graduated from Yokota AFB High School, Japan, in 1992. In March of 2004, Melissa married Teddy Allmon in Junction City, Kansas.
Melissa’s children and pets meant the world to her. Her three sons, Michael, Nicholas and Clayton and daughter, Kylie were everything to her. They made her laugh and always kept her on her toes.
She loved to cook and bake. She was also an avid art crafter, making and selling many holiday wreaths and other projects.
Melissa passed away at Stormont Vail Health Emergency and Trauma Center in Topeka, Kansas on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the age of 50. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth and Mary Hanson of Cherokee, IA and Kendall and Lulu Grauer of Marcus, IA.
Melissa will be remembered by her parents, Joel and Sharon Grauer of Marcus, IA, her husband, Teddy Allmon of Junction City, KS, three sons, Michael of Ogden, KS, Nicholas of Junction City, KS and Clayton of Junction City, KC, one daughter, Kylie of Ogden, KS. Melissa is also survived by her two sisters, Rosella (Ed) Jackson of Audubon, IA and Lyndsey Greuniesen of Carl Junction, MO and many nieces and nephews.
