Marvin LeRoy Timmerman

 Marvin LeRoy Timmerman, the son of Elmer and Adelia (Knaack) Timmerman was born January 5, 1946 in the Galva-Holstein area where he attended school. After school he lived in Sioux City, IA. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1970-1972.

 He was united in marriage to Donna Reed in 1975. They resided in Aurelia, IA. Marvin worked for Sanitary Services and then Wilson Foods for many years. Most recently he had drove truck and worked for High Country Salvage. He later married Bernadine Bruns on August 31, 1991.

In his free time, Marvin enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren.

 On December 23, 2021, Marvin passed away unexpectedly at his home in Cherokee at the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Adelia Timmerman; one son, Phillip Timmerman; and two sisters, Nancy Brunsman and Lorraine Newman.

 He is lovingly remembered by his children; Jason Timmerman, Marvin A. Timmerman, Wendy Schlicher and Dale Timmerman; sisters, Donna Miller, Dee Timmerman, and Lavaune Timmerman; eight grandchildren; and many friends.
