Lucille E. Gravenish, the daughter of John and Beulah (Shaw) Bunney was born May 14, 1924, in Cherokee, IA. Her early childhood years were spent in Cherokee where she attended school. She graduated from Wilson High School in 1942.
On May 9, 1946, Lucille was united in marriage to Cyril "Hap" Gravenish in Storm Lake, Iowa. They worked for many years in the restaurant business. Lucille liked to crochet, watch television, and play bingo. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
On October 18, 2012, Lucille passed away at the Cherokee Villa in Cherokee at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Beulah Bunney; her husband, Hap Gravenish; one sister, Beverly (Bunney) Stiencke; one brother, Edwin Bunney; and one daughter, Toby (Gravenish) Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Bill) Lee of Cherokee, IA, siblings: June (Bud) Dilocker of Cherokee, IA, and Blondina (James) Grienke of Alta, IA; grandchildren: Shawn Lee, Bob (Donna) Lee, and Matt Lee, all of Cherokee, IA, and David (Bethany) Lee of Le Mars, IA; great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Treyton, Jadelyn, and Lainey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cherokee.

VISITATION
Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. Friday, with the family present from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday night at the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home in Cherokee. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
