Linda Lucille Lee

August 21, 1947 — December 15, 2021

Linda Lucille Lee, the daughter of Hap and Lucy (Bunny) Gravenish was born August 21, 1947, in Storm Lake, IA. Her first couple years were spent in Primghar and Storm Lake, IA, before her family moved to Cherokee. She attended and graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1965. After high school she briefly attended secretary school in Sioux City.

 On November 28, 1970, Linda was united in marriage to Bill Lee. They were blessed with four boys, Shawn, Bob, Matt, and David. Linda worked for the Cherokee School District for over 35 years. During that time she made many lifelong friends at the school.

 Linda was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cherokee, IA. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Most of all she loved attending her children’s and grandchildren’s events and visiting with all her friends.

 On Wednesday, December 15, 2021, Linda passed away at the Good Samaritan Home in Holstein, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hap and Lucy Gravenish; husband, Bill Lee; son, Matt Lee; and sister, Toby Gravenish.

 She will lovingly be remembered by her sons, Shawn Lee of Cherokee, IA, Bob (Donna) Lee of Cherokee, IA, and their daughter, Lainey, and David Lee of Adel, IA, and his children, Katelyn, Treyton, Jadelyn, and Coleton; she is also survived by other relatives and friends.

SERVICES
A Mass of Christian Burial willl take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2021, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cherokee.
