Keith Page Willis, the son of Vance and Margorie (Page) Bainbridge was born on August 17, 1951 in Escondido, CA. He attended San Diego schools before moving to Wilcox, AZ where he attended Wilcox Public Elementary School. The family relocated to Kingsley, IA where he graduated from Kingsley-Pierson High School in 1970. Following graduation, he attended Southern State College in Springfield, SD for a year.
Keith moved to Cherokee where he worked for Ament Construction. Years later, he became owner of Curtis and Willis Construction in Cherokee. He then worked for the City of Cherokee at the Cherokee Fire Department for 25 years.
Keith was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cherokee, IA. He enjoyed boating in Okoboji, snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park, traveling, and collecting antiques. Most of all Keith enjoyed being with his family and friends.
On September 22, 2010, Keith passed away in Council Bluffs, IA at the age of 59 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margorie Bainbridge.
He is survived by his two sons; Joshua (Christy) Willis of Johnston, IA and Jeremy Willis of Paragould, AR; his father Vance(Lorraine) Bainbridge of Kingsley, IA; his sister Kathy(Jim) Hudec of Walthill, NE; grandchildren; Brooke and Brady Willis of Johnston, IA, friend, Martha Green of Council Bluffs, IA; many other relatives and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Cherokee Fire Department.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, September 25, 2010, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cherokee.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Friday, with the family present from 5:30-8:00 P.M. Friday night at the CHEROKEE FIRE DEPARTMENT in Cherokee.
