Joshua Lee Sundt

Joshua Lee Sundt was born January 19, 1995, to Todd Sundt and Tina White (Weier). His early childhood was spent in Le Mars, IA, but he later moved to Eldora, IA, where he graduated from high school. After moving to Cherokee, he worked various jobs, including  Sleezers, Subway, and A & A in Holstein.

 Josh loved hanging out with his friends, playing video games, and going fishing with his dad. He had a heart of gold, and was said to have never met a stranger.

 Josh passed from this life on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the young age of 23. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clarence Sundt and Allen Weier.

 He will be greatly missed by his parents, Tina White (Weier) and Todd Sundt (Sue Driesen), all of Cherokee; three siblings, Amber Holtrop of Raleigh, NC, Anthony Holtrop of Newton, IA, and Kelsieh Janney of Stratford, IA; his grandmothers, Diane Igou of Apache Junction, AZ, Erma Mairose of Le Mars, IA, and step-grandmother, Gail Weier of Alpha, MN; aunts and uncles: Danae (Mike) Thoene, of George, IA,  Jim (Jodi) Weier of Columbia, MO, Kelly Cluphf of Hartley, IA, Brenda (Jim) Baack of Le Mars, IA, Barb (Dale) Cave of Marcus, IA, Terry Sundt of Le Mars, IA; and many other relatives and friends.
