Fredrick Eugene Frangenberg

Fredrick Eugene Frangenberg, the son of George and Joan (Weins) Frangenberg, was born November 22, 1960, in Cherokee, IA. He passed away on July 24, 2023.

Fred is survived by his children, Luke (Heather) Frangenberg of Sioux Falls, SD, Ryan Frangenberg of Omaha, NE, and biological children, Austin and Zoe Curtis, adopted by Harlan and Trish Curtis of Cherokee, IA; grandchildren, Alexis, Madelyn, Weston, and Jack Frangenberg of Sioux Falls, SD; his mother and step-father, Joan and Kenneth Anderson; sisters, Lucille Meadows of Chico, CA, and Rena Frangenberg of Cherokee, IA; half brother, Robert (Tryce) Frangenberg of Morgan City, Louisiana; his first and only wife and love of his life, Cindy Griffin Frangenberg; and special friend Christy Curtis of Cherokee, IA.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Frangenberg, and sister Jeri Frangenberg.
