Earl F. Anderson

March 31, 1943 — October 30, 2017

Earl Francis Anderson, the son of Francis and Lucille (Swinderman) Anderson was born on March 31, 1943 in Storm Lake, IA. His childhood years were spent in Storm Lake where he attended school. After school, Earl worked for a tire shop in Storm Lake for 25 years. On January 28, 1978, he was united in marriage to Marie Wilson at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cherokee. Following their marriage they lived in Cherokee and Earl worked briefly for Christianson Brothers and then for Buzz's Junk Yard until his retirement. Earl enjoyed playing pool, throwing darts, and going to coffee with Marie. On October 30, 2017, Earl passed away at his home at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Lucille Anderson; and one step-son LeeRoy Eldridge Earl is survived by his wife Marie Anderson of Cherokee, IA; three children, Kevin, Thalyn, and Melissa; and one son, Marty Eldridge. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2017, at the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home in Cherokee.
