Delores June Todd, the daughter of Oscar and Ella (Andresen) Lenz, was born June 20, 1931, on the family farm in Silver Township near Holstein, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent on the farm. She attended Silver School #6. Following the passing of her father at an early age, Delores stayed at home to assist her family.
On January 30, 1949, Delores was united in marriage to Donald Todd in Holstein, IA. Following their marriage, they moved to the family farm where they have remained ever since. Delores loved living and working on the farm. She enjoyed assisting Don with the everyday aspects of farming. They raised cattle, milk cows, chickens, hogs, ducks, and geese.
