Carol E. (Lochner) Hetrick was born to John Henry and Edith Merle (Jackson) Lochner in Meriden, Iowa on June 13, 1947. She was married to Carey Hetrick on September 9, 1972. They had three children: Tina, Coree, and Tayla. In 1982, she opened the Christian Book, Music, and Supply Store. She enjoyed helping to equip the area churches in their ministry and the many people she met during her years there. In recent years, she was unable to be there, but she still continued as business manager from her home office.
Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with friends and family.
She has been reunited with her parents; one brother, Dale Lochner; sister, Joyce Hultman; and her beloved dog, Sadie.
Those who are still living, rejoicing with her but greatly missing her are her husband; Carey Hetrick; daughters: Tina and her husband Tim Westbay and his daughter, Keeli of Cherokee, IA, Coree and her husband Paul Stewart and their daughters, Shelby and Caitlyn of Monument, CO; and Tayla and her husband Craig Nelson, and their son, Alexander of Des Moines, IA; her sisters, Shirley Lochner, Lois and her husband, Arwen Van Wyk of Sheldon, IA Dorothy Lochner of Turlock, CA; brothers, Wayne Lochner and his wife Peggy of Cherokee, IA, and Paul Lochner and his wife Marilyn of Lebanon, MO; as well as many nieces and nephews. We will miss her, but we know we will be with her again.
