Beverly Blanche Beck

Beverly Blanche Beck, the daughter of Albert Vernor and Alfreeda Blanche (Fessler) Bredman was born March 21, 1938, in Cherokee, IA.

 She graduated from Larrabee Consolidated School in 1955. Beverly was united in marriage to Roger Beck on July 26, 1968. Following their marriage, she held various waitress jobs throughout her life. She retired from Gateway in Sioux City, IA in 2000, and moved back to the family farm near Larrabee with her husband Roger.

 Mom’s passion was horses and pride in her Swedish heritage. Beverly also spent countless hours on family genealogy. She loved reading, chocolate, traveling, and puzzles. Beverly cherished her family and friends, and loved lilacs and roses.

 Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Alfreeda  Bredman; in-laws, John and Faye Beck; an infant daughter, Wanda Kay Rassel; son, Ron Rassel; daughter, Teresa Walden Norland; grandson, Brett Phipps; brother-in-law, Jim Beck; sister-in-law, Lila Beck; and step-daughter, Suzanne Jordahl.

 She is survived by her devoted husband, Roger Beck; daughter, Brenda Beck of Denver, CO; son, Kevin Rassel; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Janice (Dick) Mason of Early, IA; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Beck of Cherokee, IA, and Jane (Roger) Stoner of Peterson, IA; brother-in-law, Don Beck of Fort Dodge, IA; other relatives and many friends.
