Agnes Marion Lincoln, the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Small) Jomant was born on October 31, 1934, in Chicago, IL. Her childhood years were spent in Chicago where she received her education. After school, she worked as a book binder.
Agnes was united in marriage to Norman Lincoln Sr. They moved to Minnesota in 1966. In 1980, she went to work for PPG for 11 years until her retirement.
Agnes enjoyed sewing, making curtains, rugs, and dolls for her grandchildren. She was a kind hearted woman who loved her family and helped anybody she could. She also loved her cat Jack.
On November 4, 2015, Agnes passed away at Cherokee Regional Medical Center at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Lincoln Sr.; one son, Norman Edward Lincoln Jr.; one brother, Joe Jomant; and grandparents, Bill and Charlotte Mickeska.
She is survived by her children, Bob Taylor of Minneapolis, MN, Mark (Christine) Lincoln of Cherokee, IA, Norma (Joe) Yactzak of Hudson, FL, and Mike (Tina) Lincoln of rural Marcus, IA; she is also survived by 10 grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.
SERVICES
A memorial service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Marcus, IA.
