“I feel honored to have known Jim. I knew him through his son, whom I used to teach with at Willow/River Valley Schools many many years ago. I owned a sports card shop in Cherokee at the time and I always looked forward to Jim coming down the stairs with a smile and asking, “Hey, Jim! Do you have any new Emmitt’s?” (Referring time Emmitt Smith football cards)

He was a wonderful man and my deepest condolences to his entire family.”
