Susan C. Glouser 75 passed away unexpectedly in her home on January 11, 2020. Susas was born December 10, 1944 in Sioux City, IA. She graduated from Heelen High School in Sioux City, and attended college in Lincoln, NE. Susan loved her family and also loved animals.

 She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Glouser, Jr. in 1977; her parents, and Roy and Vicki Rouse.

 She is survived by her children, Rob Ruan and his wife Manuela of LeMars, IA, Mary Ruan, Chad Glouser, Joshua Glouser, and Cicely Miller all of Cherokee; as well as longtime special friend, Fred Kischer; sister-in-law, Kathy Glouser (Wayne) and her children, Billy and Jeremy.

“My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time . I remember waiting on her when she use to come to McDonald's and Dollar General store . She always had a smile on her face and always asked how your day was. She will be missed dearly. Just remember all the good times you all had with her. Remember she is a Beautiful Angel watching over you all now.”

“I knew Susan while she cleaned the Farm Bureau office in Cherokee where I worked. She was a sweet lady who always left notes on my desk or a card to brighten my day. Even after I changed jobs, she would stop in a say hello. My deepest sympathies to her family. A kind soul gone too soon. ”
