On January 8, 1949, she was united in marriage to Donald Klotz. They were blessed with five children: Leo, Leon, Linda, Larry, and Lori. The family farmed in the Schleswig area until 1954, when they moved to the Quimby area where they farmed until 1974. They then moved to an acreage near Washta, IA. “Hertha became a lovely friend to my mom, June, while they were “neighbors “ at The Gardens.. They shared the newspaper, ate all meals together, and shared many stories and much laughter! She will be deeply missed by June, and myself.
God Bless, dear friend.
