“ So sorry to hear of Velma's passing. I had to let my kids know of her passing. My memories are of her and Verina baby sitting for St Paul's church during church services.. They were soo kind and caring. It's not easy. They are probably doing their favorite things in heaven. Rocking kids and reading stories. Our sympathies to the family. PS Cool hat. Take care.”

“My daughter ,Amy Halls and I had the pleasure of knowing Velma over the past 30 years. She watched Amy in the church nursery for a number of years,, and when Amy grew up and moved away; Velma would always inquire about how she was doing. We will always remember the kindness and interest she showed our family. May she rest in peace knowing that she touched so many lives”
